If you don’t like meatloaf, tell Lion Nola and the Clubhouse will serve you their substitute entrée – pasta with marinara sauce.

As you know, the Lions Club is obligated to pay the Clubhouse for the number of meals requested.

Lions Recognize LEO Club 8th Graders
|
|
The LOW Lions Club recognized the 8th grade Leos of Locust Grove Middle School upon their graduation to Orange County High School at the Lion’s club meeting on May 16 at the LOW Clubhouse.
Christian Jones received the award as Leo of the Year in recognition of his enthusiastic leadership and participation in the Leo Club. The other 8thgrade Leos moving on to High School with Christian are Elizabeth Gullickson, Hannah Hardin, Ryan Horton, Kira Moore, Cameron Staples, Kelly Williams, and Max Yarrow.
Lion Selven Powell, with Lion Carol Curry as an advisor, spearheaded the Club’s efforts for several years to establish the Middle School Leo Club. Lion Carol presented a special certificate to Lion Selven in recognition of his leadership. She also presented certificates of appreciation to Chuck Longerbeam, the Leo coordinator at the school when the club was established 5 years ago; to Bradley Toombs, the current Leo coordinator; and to Jackie Calero, treasurer of the first Leo Club at the school. Susan Galloday, Lions District 24A Chair for Leo Club establishment was on hand to congratulate the students and staff.
LOW Lions President Lois Powell presented a certificate of appreciation to Carol Curry in recognition of her contribution to the Lions Club’s success in establishing the Middle School Leo Club and of her continuing efforts to establish the Leos in the High School, where this past year they came within 4 members of receiving a charter from Lions International.
