Prospective members - both male and female - are invited to join the club and are sponsored by existing members. Annual dues are $75 and new members pay an initiation fee of $55. Members are expected to attend all meetings but a member is considered active if he/she attends at least one meeting every two months. Currently, there are two general meetings a month, at 6:30 p.m. on the first and third Thursdays.
The Board of Directors holds an additional meeting, usually on the first Thursday of the month, at 5 p.m., a meeting which all Lions are welcome to attend. Members who are out of the area or have unusual demands temporarily placed on their time may request Member At Large status for up to six months during which they are not required to attend meetings.
Affiliate membership is another category for those who want to be associated with and help the club with its service benevolence mission but cannot attend meetings. Their annual membership fee for affiliate members is currently $100.
