History
The Lake of the Woods Lions Club was organized in the Spring of 1982 and was chartered by the Lions Club International on May 27th, 1982. Throughout that time and continuing today our member volunteers have been proudly serving Orange County with programs that address community needs. Check out our Programs page to see what we are doing.
Mission
Lions serve. It’s that simple, and it has been since Lions Club International first began in 1917. Our clubs are places where individuals join together to give their valuable time and effort to improving their communities, and the world. The LOW Lions Club is dedicated to serving our neighbors in Orange County Virginia.
Meetings
LOW Lions meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month. The Club’s business meeting is held on the 1st Thursday at the LOW Community Center or via Zoom. A dinner meeting for the full membership is held on the 3rd Thursday at the LOW Clubhouse or selected location. Meetings times and locations are subject to change. Members are required to attend at least one meeting per month.
